Closed-world-URL
One of the four gates: every URL cited or fetched must be on the approved list for the firm's jurisdictions, and not on the refused list.

- GateA deterministic check that runs on output, code rather than a model's opinion. Four of them: match-set (every citation in the answer must be one that was actually retrieved), quote-verbatim (a quoted passage must appear word for word in the retrieved source), confidence-floor (a claim below the threshold is held rather than passed through), and closed-world-URL (a link from a domain outside the allow-list does not render).
- Closed worldThe finite, published list of sources research is allowed to fetch from: 74 approved domains in total, 44 UK and Irish, 18 EU and ECHR, 12 treaty and international, with 10 paywalled domains refused by name, including Westlaw, Practical Law, Lexis, Bloomberg Law, Justis and vLex.
