This Privacy Policy applies to the LegalAI Space marketing website at https://legalaispace.com (the "Site"). It explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you visit the Site, join the waitlist, book a research conversation, or submit a contact form.
This policy covers the marketing site only. Separate privacy terms covering the LegalAI Space platform, AI agents, and data processing will be provided to Private Preview participants upon signup and published publicly ahead of general availability (GA).
Who we are
LegalAI Space is a technology platform. We are not a law firm, we are not regulated by any legal services regulator, and we do not provide legal advice.

Information we collect
Information you provide
- Waitlist signup: full name, work email, firm name, role, firm size, and optionally your AI governance concerns.
- Contact form and research conversation bookings: name, email, and any message you include.
- Email correspondence: if you email us directly.
Information collected automatically
- Usage data: pages visited, time on page, referral source, browser type, device type, and screen resolution.
- Analytics data: collected via PostHog (our product analytics provider). PostHog may set cookies or use local storage. See our Cookie Policy for details.
- Log data: IP address, request timestamps, and server logs collected by our hosting infrastructure.
We do not collect sensitive personal data (health, ethnicity, political opinions, etc.) through this Site.
How we use your information
We use information collected through this Site to:
- Process waitlist signups and contact form submissions.
- Schedule and conduct research conversations.
- Send communications you have opted into (product updates, early-access notifications).
- Analyse Site usage to improve content, performance, and user experience.
- Prevent abuse and maintain Site security.

Sharing and disclosure
We may share your information with:
- Service providers that help us operate this Site: hosting (Vercel), analytics (PostHog), form processing (Microsoft Azure Logic Apps), email (Resend), and scheduling (Microsoft Bookings).
- Professional advisors (legal, accounting) where necessary.
- Legal authorities when required by law, regulation, or legal process.
- Parties to a business transaction such as a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, with prior notice where practicable.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Data retention
- Waitlist and contact submissions: retained until you request deletion or until they are no longer needed for the purpose collected, whichever is earlier.
- Analytics data: retained in PostHog in accordance with PostHog's data retention policies.
- Server logs: retained for up to 90 days for security and debugging purposes.
International transfers
Your information may be processed outside the UK or EEA by our service providers (e.g. Vercel, PostHog). Where transfers occur, we rely on appropriate safeguards including Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or adequacy decisions.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR and EU GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Rectify inaccurate personal information.
- Erase your personal information (right to be forgotten).
- Restrict processing of your personal information.
- Object to processing based on legitimate interest.

Platform privacy terms — separate agreement
This policy covers the marketing site (legalaispace.com) only. The LegalAI Space SaaS platform, AI agents, governance dashboard, and all related services are governed by separate privacy and data processing agreements, including:
- Platform Privacy Policy — governing personal data processed within the application
- Data Processing Agreement (DPA) — governing processing of client data uploaded to the platform, including data sovereignty commitments, sub-processor lists, and data retention schedules
Private Preview participants will receive these documents upon signup. All platform-specific privacy documents will be published publicly ahead of general availability. Until those documents are in place, no data processing relating to the SaaS platform is governed by this marketing site Privacy Policy.
