SRA AI Governance Readiness Assessment
The SRA has written no AI-specific rules. It regulates outcomes rather than tools, so every existing obligation applies unchanged when the work is done by a model. This free assessment maps your firm's position against 70 controls derived from the SRA Principles, both Codes of Conduct, the SRA's guidance and AI publications, and the case law now governing AI-assisted legal work.
What the assessment covers
33 questions across 12 governance domains: governance and accountability, AI inventory and risk, supervision and review, authority verification, confidentiality and data, client transparency, competence and training, bias and fair access, complaints and redress, vendors and third parties, records and auditability, and incidents and reporting.
What you get
A readiness score across the twelve domains, a flag on any red-line failure, and a prioritised gap report in the order to fix the gaps. Every finding cites the exact paragraph, guidance page or judgment it derives from, and marks whether that source is binding, guidance, indicative or a court authority. It takes about ten minutes. It is a self-assessment, not a compliance audit or a regulatory opinion.
